Seoutt and Namkeen tea (Sheer chai)-traditional recipe of kashmir.

kashmir is richer in traditional food habits and visitors from all around the world fall in love with our eating tastes.

There has been immense assistance from my sister Anjum Fayaz who is an  advocate by profession, having an excellant niche for food twists.

I challenge nobody has touched or shared the traditional recipe of seoutt on any google platform till date.

Seoutt is coarse roasted grinded flour of either corn or rice which makes the traditional food heritage of kashmir richer.

Seoutt is an essential part of namkeen tea still available in rural viallges. Although the recipe is at extinction if not revived.

Seoutt and Namkeen tea is a perfect combination of taste and flavour and it guarentees to refresh your mood.

Nowaday's it is specially being served to guests along with namkeen tea to add to  their nostalgia.

There are many traditional dishes or their recipes which are extinct cutrently and Seoutt being one among them at the helm of affairs.

You will find everybody has an incilnation to the this immense falavoured add-on "Seoutt" to Namkeen tea.

Seott is a coarse add-on to traditional  namkeen tea and is full of energy and taste.

The Namkeen tea sounds fake in absence of this beauty.

If i go a little nostalgic when almost in every home of kashmir Seoutt was full time alternative to roti for some reasons, i recollect all the childhood memories and the love and fun in the macro families.

It's amazing taste and flavour,is relished by all age groups.

Seoutt is an economic breakfast package  along with the traditional tea in the fat families, which cannot afford to make huge number of roti's for all the members living together.

A popular place for kashmiri's to enjoy Seoutt and Namkeen tea at the National highway of jammu and Kashmir is "Samroli",the midpoint of the two destinations, where you can purchase fresh corn Seoutt, locally packed.

Make Seoutt the traditional way at home.
